Finally got onto the plane about 7.45pm and discovered there were a lot of kids on board. I don't normally have an issue with kids on the plane, I know that when they grizzle that they can't help it - my ears got so sore on the landing that I wanted to grizzle too... but what I do object to is having a kid sit behind me, kick the back other the chair, play with the tray table, switch the light on and off when the lights have been dimmed for take ...

The following day we caught a Greyhound bus up to a seaside town called Maroochydore (pronounced ma roo chee door) where we stayed for one night. How has this hotel rated in the past?
Good Hotel opposite the Mater Hospital, the road outside is a bit busy but not too bad. we got the room for $149 on Wotif, so good value.
