Good Hotel opposite the Mater Hospital, the road outside is a bit busy but not too bad. we got the room for $149 on Wotif, so good value.

No energy to read or listen to music yet not bothering to sleep! Any hope of seeing much out the window was quickly squashed as it is definitely true that Australia is a spread out country. Barring the odd petrol station or tiny town, there was nothing but natural wildlife to see! We rocked up at Hervey Bay an hour before our ...

Q "how do you live out here?" A "by breathing in and out"
Q "'what do you find to do out here?" A "repair fishing trawlers and whale watching"

Q "Where do you get your supplies from?" A "Early morning Road kill"
