Good Hotel opposite the Mater Hospital, the road outside is a bit busy but not too bad. we got the room for $149 on Wotif, so good value.

Today we travelled to the Royal Hotel at Harrisville. It
is a nice free camp behind the hotel on the bank of the river. As I had used
120 Lt of water cleaning the caravan yesterday I needed to refill the water
tanks. We headed to the sports reserve, there is a steep ditch at the entrance
of the sports reserve. I had a senior moment as I approached the entrance and

An egg was cracked into a cup (which probably had never been through a dish washer!!!), the onion and chilli added and then all whipped together with a flourish and then poured onto the roti. Later on that night, Matt went to play 5 a side footy with Tom and his footy team while Kate stayed in to watch a film. We said our goodbyes to Tom that evening before heading off relatively early the next morning (which wasn't that early by the time we managed to navigate our way out of the city) and headed to Byron ...

... the magazine and finish my coffee. Watched a movie on my iPad and by then it was almost time to board the plane. I sat and waited for about 10 minutes when I heard the call for everyone to board flight MH 134. I looked at my ticket and it said MH 134 so I packed up and moved to the boarding line. The plane wasn't a very big plane, there wasn’t many people on it either. I walked down the ramp and onto the ...

On our way from Hervey Bay to Brisbane we stopped off at a couple of places. First we went to the beachside town of Noosa in the Sunshine Coast. A very pretty town overlooking the surf friendly beach so we stopped here for brunch before heading off. Our main stop of the day was Australia Zoo, just one hour from Noosa, made famous by Steve Irwin of Crocodile Hunter fame. We are both not very keen on zoos where animals are cooped put in small cages but this was more ...
