Left 1.20 this afternoon on train to Szob to check out regional Hungary. Beautiful scenery and the ever flowing Danube. Szob is located on the border of Hungary & Slovakia. Budapest highlights then start the 23 hour cruise to Vienna. At 2,600km, the Danube is the second longest river in Europe (after the Volta). It's quite shallow and typically there's only 1.5 m of water under our keel. Before the snow melt, it's too shallow for the cruise ships in Jan and Feb.
