Well I've caught up with another friend who was heading to Pattaya so I've headed down there en route towards the Cambodian border. Just had my first night here. What can you say about this place! I feel like Im part of some sort of Thailand uncovered documentary. By night it's like some sort of messed up Disneyland... and it's a tough call to know which one is Mickey or Minnie ...

30/09: After spending our 2nd full day wondering around Pattaya, lazing on the beach, drinking 60 baht beer and experiencing our first Baht bus, we headed back to the villa for dinner with our surrogate family. ... helpful given that we had four huge suitcases. Less helpful still was the fact that he didn't hear our shouts and so motored around the outside of the market before departing. We had not yet eaten and were losing hope of a pick up so I decided to examine what food was up for grab at the many stores. It soon became apparent that there were thousands of flies who had jumped the queue and were sampling the local delicacies so I decided to hold ...

    Hookers and boredom!

... the night. The room was no nicer than the ones we had stayed in before. but it was less than a block from the beach. We headed out to explore the town, immediatly bombarded by the locals. Men who wanted us to buy suits, girls that wanted us to drink in their bar would litterally grab our arms and try to drag us in. Hookers with grab us in places im not used to getting grabbed at in the street. Pattaya, annoying within the first 5 minutes of getting to know it. ...
