    ... were left to wander the city on our own. We stopped at a few gift shops, enjoyed some ice cream and then visited the famous bridge.

    Tonight for dinner, we formally introduced ourselves to one another in our tour group and enjoyed a traditional German meal consisting of soup, turkey nuggets and fries. After a long two days of traveling, we are settling in for a good night's rest!

    We left our hotel at 8 am this morning and drove to the Bridge at Remagen. We ran into some traffic, but arrived shortly after 11. We saw what was left of the bridge and also went inside one of the towers to the Peace Museum.     ... week. They both have different methods of teaching, which is helpful. Heike is more concerned with teaching us to talk aloud whilst Sandra takes a more graphical approach and likes to make us cut out pictures and stick them on posters to hang around the classroom for us to refer to.
