    ... and this time ham) and coffee. In the Chamonix valley this dish was called "croute" but apparently this name changed over the border.

    After a stop view the interesting geological formations called Les Pyramides, we arrived in Arolla about 4 p.m. and stopped in to the bar for a drink while a couple of vans moved away from the reception unloading area.

    Dinner at the Grand Hotel and Kurhaus was a four course affair, and very delicious. ...

    What a day ! We drove 90mins to Lac Aiguebelette and had a wonderful day. By chance we were able to wander into the athletes area and cruised around all their tents. Just like a Sunday picnic, except, stationery bikes, kids paddling pools and rowing boats everywhere. We tracked down the Kiwi's and quickly took a photo and moved on. We watched the activity on the athlete's screen, went and saw the boats being weighed and really felt part of the action. ...

    Did this three times, just for fun.
    No luggage but rain on the first two runs over.
    The last time was as I headed to france, via Italy.
