... Continuing the attitude adjustment, when in Rome...... So we took a surfing lesson in Surfer's Paradise. Learn to surf shops are everywhere and for $49 AU, you too can learn to walk on water. It was hard work and we did ride some waves in although mostly with our bellies on the board instead of our feet. There may be more of this in our future! And then the total buzzkill - I lost ...

Allan, the barista, made fresh coffee, and Sharon had made a mini fresh ...

... the dweller and an Airstream can or beach hut as other types of accommodation you could choose. We were gutted we only had the one night here as we had no opportunity to enjoy the apartments, we were just heading off again up the coast. We headed out with the others for a morning of Kayaking and dolphin spotting, which as $69 dollars each for 3 hours was a bargain. After initially getting a little lost, we walked a way up the road to a beach side van with a group of ...

Australia's Miami

... one of the worlds tallest residential towers. The view was spectacular, as far as the eyes could see of white sand and the nearby high rise buildings combined with the winding rivers of Surfers Paradise. We saw the view by day and night after watching the sunset. We were struck by the lack of things to do and we were happy we only planned a 2 night stay. Next stop Brisbane.
