Autumn in Montana
... for a day or two with more visits from various family members. We then made the 10 hour drive to Portland, Oregon to visit my sister Heather and her 4 kids. Busy bodies the were Jay-T being 3, Faith 4 almost 5, and the older two, Tyara 14, and Tuyen nearing 17! We had fun making dinner and painting pumpkins. I then set up my tent to join the rest of the hikers for dinner. My first guide Drew than ...
Snowed In
... to go any further. We reckoned that staying on the side of the road would put us at risk of being hit by speeding trucks and kept moving at our own peril. Many hours after we stopped in a small town. The storm only got worse and we checked into a very nice hotel with warm rooms and hot showers. The rate was unbelievably low - 39.99$ + tax.
