... to Hangzhou for the last time ever (so glad I never have to go there again)
for my Chinese lesson and to tell my agency I’d be leaving. There wasn’t much they could

... I can't remember if I've mentioned anywhere that I've eaten loads of crabs since being in China, and this meal was no exception. Yum. We got back to the house in time for Serena's party to start on time. 2 of her friends came over, 1 of them being LuLu, the adorable boy who came over for Halloween and KTV a few weeks ago. ... they know that kids are kids and will have fun just running around? I suggeted (by email) that the Lopair staff sing with us so we won't feel so alone on stage and it'd probably make it more interesting for the parents to watch. The answer was a resounding "no".

    - I have met some lovely people in China, genuinely nice people, people who have taken an interest in me, taken me to the cinema, who ...

We wake up as normal, jaded and in slow motion but we get our act together to go and see Jake. I've mentioned him before but just in case, he's my cousins stepson. 18 years old and got offered a fantastic opportunity to DJ in a city near Shanghai. He's been there 2 months and already building up a bit of a fan club. He's even done a magazine interview and next week he's on the radio. I have to say I'm very proud of him, he's taking the plunge and trying something ...
