with my host family, I am just not enjoying my time here ...

And I show them my ticket and point to the character by the seat that says "window/aisle" (it's in Chinese and English) and they mumble "hao de, hao de" (ok, fine) and sit where they're supposed to be sitting. I wonder if this is the first time people ...

We wake up as normal, jaded and in slow motion but we get our act together to go and see Jake. I've mentioned him before but just in case, he's my cousins stepson. 18 years old and got offered a fantastic opportunity to DJ in a city near Shanghai. He's been there 2 months and already building up a bit of a fan club. He's even done a magazine interview and next week he's on the radio. I have to say I'm very proud of him, he's taking the plunge and trying something ...
