... drivers and tour guides… and in some ways written on the faces of everyone I see. Maybe it’s just me.

It is Saturday and we are now leaving Krakow for Sopot and Gdansk in northern Poland on the Baltic Sea. Over the last two days we have talked about all we saw in our tours of Auschwitz and Birkenau. The fact is that words fail. Even the imagination struggles to comprehend the reality of what we were seeing after-the-fact. All we can do is ...

Ania doskonale pamietala swoich dziadkow i wciagala ich dokladnie w te same zabawy, ktore lubila jeszcze przed wyjazdem. Wpasowala sie w codzienna rzeczywistosc tak, jakby nigdy ...

... the bus station as we did, you are let on the bus first.  There are not enough seats for everyone, so many are left standing.  However, with a ticket,  you are pretty likely to get a seat since most of the travelers are locals who purchase the ticket on board.  The bus does make a few stops, letting even more people on who crowd into the aisles.  But it drops you right by the gate to the museum.  There is no admission fee. Auschwitz I is both museum and houses original ...
