    ... the sea. I'm going to be disappointed with the views when I get back to coffee-ing in Lytham. Then moved the car - it was busy when we arrived, and we thought we'd left the car in a decent spot, but when we came back, it just might have been a towaway zone. If so, we were lucky so thanks to whoever or whatever was looking out for us. Moved it to a proper car park and went to the beach.     ... Jerry tried the cold soup (torrator????) like runny tzatziki in a glass to be drunk through a straw. How odd - it tasted fine, and I honestly think that if I ate it with a spoon, I'd like it. But couldn't get past drinking garlic through a straw. I guess I'm not ready for Heston yet!

    ... 100% to the noise level. The only other noise I can think will be a problem (apart from Mariah Carey's Christmas warbling) is the seagulls - who have already left their mark all over our poor old car.


    Had ad a lovely meal in a restaurant shaded by massive fig trees overlooking the sea. Very scenic, but a bit chilly so we were glad of the fleecy blankets provided. Delicious sea bass for me, mussels for Jerry, so an all round success.

    Day trip to the historic town of Sozopol today.

    For our free breakfast we had to walk down the road for 30 seconds to Hotel Fors, which is in partnership with our guesthouse. We took our pick from the buffet of cucumber, salami, scrambled eggs, frankfurter pieces, boiled eggs, mini croissants, cheese slices, slices of cake, jam, fruit juice and hot drinks; then we headed straight off to the south bus station.
