We finally opted for the National Portrait Gallery. We had dinner in the pancake parlour and used their free wifi to book hotels in Fiji before getting on the bus back to the hotel. We leave Canberra and spend a restful night at Numeralla River Rest Stop about 20kms north of Cooma- it's 10 degrees when we set ourselves up there. It is a very scenic Rest Stop away from the noise of the Monaro Hwy - we have TV, internet and full phone coverage way out here.
And we sleep solid after a rather unhappy day!
