Siiiiiiiiii
And at long last we are on our way ... can't quite believe we are actually starting this journey after all the work, planning, talking .... And we know we've been to San Telmo many times before but this time it is different!! And so good to have Simon's old friends Max & Linsey onboard - after all they were really the people responsible for him ending up in Port d'Andratx to begin with.
St Elm, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain sharkita... until Liam, a deckhand, poked up his head. He said he was sitting there the whole time, but I suspect he had fallen asleep since I had called out a few times when I first arrived.
After he lowered the passarelle and I was able to board, I jumped in the shower to wash off all the smoke and sweat of the night and was soon in bad.
The next day I went with a few of the girls to explore more of the town and to browse some of the shops. They ...
We arrived in Cala de Calobra around 5:30. We anchored in the small bay and took a tender to shore. The little village has a small pier along one side of a steep hill and the village is crowded on the hillside raising between two much larger and steeper hills. The whole thing looks like some Hollywood set because of its idyllic setting on the small bay. There are several bars and restaurants where we got drinks and ate an early dinner.
sa Calobra, Balearic Islands, Spain mylifesjourney... lunch was served buffet style on the main deck so everyone could eat at their leasure and were it was the most convenient for them.
Waterskiing is very exhausting and after a few hours of playing on the water, the crew loaded everything up and we headed down to coast to the small village of sa Calobra on the Cala de Calobra.
... one you shouldn’t miss if you ever make it to Mallorca.
None of my pics looked very good so, instead of posting my bad pics, below is the link the caves website. Their pics are much better than mine and also show the boats on the underwater lake. http://www.cuevasdeldrach.com/

Maths in the square at night, being awesome at the quiz, teaching it to swim, vodka and top trumps each night, the boy crying about play club, the boy loving play club, the convertible red beast (megane), fred dancing with me, all the AWFUL people that go to those places (us not included)
Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain thesanchez... Perfect Deia" - Andrew Lloyd Webber explains why Deia has become the "gastronomic capital of the Mediterranean" http://www.sonjazmin.com/article.asp ... That's quite a claim! Cala Deia A pleasant 20 minute stroll from the village is Cala Deia - a beautiful shingle bay of clear blue sea. In one way we were lucky - we had the entire bay to ourselves.... but that was because it was cold and ...
Palma, Spain and Canary Islands worldramblings... done here. A great next year awaits for us here. And in Pearl Jam's wise words, "the in between is mine"....ours, actually. Next stop is the bright city of Barcelona which I've been wanting to visit for many years. Now that the chance has finally come, we're up for some heavy sightseeing in this Catalan gem.
Mallorca, Spain zentoi visit spain so often but I had my first trip there at the tender age of about 8 months! haha!
needless to say I can't remember that particular trip but the subsequent ones really hit the spot with me!
I love Majorca because it has something for everybody. Mad nightlife, beautiful beaches and scenery, lovely people and not as "high rise" as main land Spain.
