We also attempted to leave our mark on the local 5* spa and resort by doing the famous 8s on the way to our alcohol and card tournament semi final on the last night! The final card game was a close call and all contestants played admirably but it was safe to say that 'The Elite' finished last!

We got up at a leisurely pace again this morning and set off back towards Chania driving west along the northern coast. We stopped at Rethymno which has an old Venetian section and port a lot like Chania. We at lunch facing the old harbor, but were all a little disappointed at the meal.
