The day started with a walk along the beach, we stopped to speak to a lady who was chatting to a younger man. They were both British and were interested in our travels. We passed the tavernas of which a couple were open and at the end of the beach where the waves were reaching the top we cut through to the road. Boxing Day. We decided to drive in the rain into the mountains for an explore. The route we chose on the map, we thought would take around an hour or so, but in fact it took 3. Christmas Eve, usually a very busy day, not this year. After breakfast Les drove into the village to buy bread, whilst catering baked a large mince pie. The villa was going to be cleaned today so we have arranged to he here at 11.00am. They were very late and didn't arrive until 12.30.
