Our flight from Israel was a red eye that actually had to connect in Jordan because there are no direct flights (the U.A.E. doesn't recognize the Israel). Plane Farts
... bowl which got left on the table beside me for a good hour...and then to finish me off it was then passed over me to the flight assistant. From this point I stop caring about holding my ***** in #waft. I have a few hours to kill in Dubai airport but of course I didn't get an Dubai money and I didn't tell the bank I was going to Dubai so the card is useless too. We're not in Kansas anymore!
... of sand dune racing, working our way further and further away from civilization, we finally ended up at a bedouin-style "encampment" for the rest of our choreographed evening. Here we were joined by another tour group, swelling our numbers by another hundred or so. Many of the guests were standing around waiting for their turn to ride a camel. The camels were tied together three at a time, all fully loaded by tourists, then led around in a circle by an Arabian guy ...
Second stop over
... a bite to eat in the restaurant. The hotel is quite nice, nothing fancy but certainly good for an overnight stop over. It's modern and has good facilities.
The people here are nice but you definitely feel the difference between cultures and I don't feel as comfortable as I would at home. But it's an interesting place and I would've liked to see a bit more.
