... Westin. Nothing new about the New Market - it must be pretty old. National Museum lots of interesting stuff but presented poorly, still a good starting point for a better understanding and unbeatable value at about US 10 cents entrance fee.

We fly a small carrier tomorrow at 2pm to Dhaka, and then fly Cathay Pacific (business class, baby!) to Hong Kong later tomorrow night. Once we've got more flight details, we'll forward on to family members, etc. One of the upsides of the 5-star is some pretty decent internet, so we've uploaded some photos from the trip - we hope you enoy them Cheers, Dan.Greg.Dave

Finally we agreed on a navy and green paisley design which was cotton- they insisted that the fabric must be cotton. Next I tried in vain to explain that I wanted the salwar (the pants) to be made out of a different material than the kameez (the top). Impossible. Fine, I wouldn't mind too much if the outfit looked like a ...
Reyenda, Bangladesh hancocjb... India we were expecting to make comparisons with. Parts of Dhaka are also so much more developed than Kathmandu or many other asian cities, with tall buildings, wide roads and big shopping centres. It even has KFC and Pizza Hut. The pollution was terrible though and hung in the air like a fog, irritating your eyes and throat and causing the wonderful black snot syndrome. Charming. Anyway, as there was not much to do we spent most time wandering around and ...

They had raised a huge tent on the top of their apartment buiding and decorated the rooftop very nicely. There was a bar with bartenders, a table full of snacks and of course a dancefloor and a DJ. In the course of the next few days I was to see a bit more about how life in Bangladesh is. Each country ...

My uncle took us to a crop field where he had dug a massive ditch to trap the fish form the local river. Wow, the ditch was full of fish big and small, my dad and I decided we were going to jump into the ditch and grab some fish; we did jump in but failed to grab any fish, no surprises there. We headed back ...
