      ... the one in Nassau. Except with no casino. We also made a photo stop at the Burj Al Arab Hotel, completed in 1999 and a recognize able symbol of Dubai. Then we went to the largest shopping mall in the world, the Dubai Mall. It's huge. Seriously. There's no way you can see it all in the 2 hours we had. Surprising to me, it had many American staples- even some specific to Chicago! Potbelly, Garrett's Popcorn, McDonalds, Burger King, ...

      ... mall. walked the shops, had lunch and then headed to the World Trade Centre markets which were more like what we were expecting. traditional stalls albeit within a modern building complex .. Back to the hotel room for a bit of a nap and then found the WanManhal centre behind our hotel.
