    ... and economically. The people are so very friendly and all so eager to please. Fascinating place & not at all what we expected, even after reading all the travel sites. Now we are homeward bound. It has been a wonderful adventure, full of vast differences. A very memorable and truly wonderful holiday. Even better, the upgrade to Business Class for the last and longest leg of our journey. Thank you Dave! ...

    ... stock up on supplies. Checking the receipts afterwards uncovers the fact that a half litre bottle of water was a very reasonable forty five pence (we apparently paid ten quid in a restaurant earlier in the week which explains why Deb shoos the waiters away when they offer) and the petrol was around thirty pence per litre, that's right, water is three times the price of petrol.     ... had not intention on staying. So now we have Abu Dhabi stamps in our passports. Etihad have put us up in an airport hotel and provinding us with 3 meals. Brilliant. only thing is we have paid accommodation somewhere else and now that shortens our stay there.
