... after sunrise (it was a midnight to 17:00 drive) we were exposed to one of the most beautiful road trips in the world - somewhat reminiscent of the alpine landscape we just left but much more dramatic. Therefore I and most of the others chose to get horses up, despite several of us including me having done little if any horse riding before, and we managed to negotiate a slightly discounted price of 200 rupees each.
