Aujourd'hui ce termine mon aventure en Italie! Mais quelle aventure de reve! La quantites de choses que j'ai apprise, les idees que j'ai acquises et surtout les gens que j'ai connu ont fait de ce voyage un moment inoubliable ! I just left Milano where I took my last course of coffee and I loved it ! I'm actually very sad to leave this beautiful country and all my friends here, who knows when I will see them again? but it's now time ...
... walking directions to the correct location of the receptionist. We ran over to the right building (keep in mind I'm running in little heeled booties - which is never a good idea). The woman checks us in, including taking our passports as collateral for these little badges we need to access the building. We are finally sitting, waiting in the lobby at 12:15 - late, but still there in the correct place.

Museum at Academia for a bit of culture- lots of painting of last supper that were rescued(?) from churches in town. Some really old 14c stuff and some more recent restored items. Amazing brushwork and huge alter pieces some with bible stories that were new to me. Spent arvo wandering lanes and canals. Pizza at same restaurant. ...
... but most are pleasure yachts. It looks like the village may be quite exclusive. Not many tourists. We had coffee in the hotel - the only commercial building in the village. I guess the residents go into Bellagio to shop. It is about 2 km but up over the hill. Roger is riding his bike back to our apartment, so we visited the supermarketo we discovered earlier. Stocked up on essentials like, wine, beer, cheese, salami, bread etc. ...

Our apartment, together with Bella Fontana and Dolce Vita, are part of the famous Villa Capoana which was built in 1605 – which explains why the electricals here leave a bit to be desired. There’s power boards all over the place! The fountain here provides water that has no calcium in it. People stop in their cars all the time to fill up huge canisters and bottles to take ...
