... course it isn't right that people live hard, impoverished lives with poor medical facilities and unsafe water and food supplies and dilapidated surroundings; but neither is it right that the natural world and evidence of our history are sacrificed for short-term "luxury" at the expense of future generations.

I have since decided that after hearing my "strange" accent, they just took the **** and gave me the wrong directions. From here, I ended up in Swindon. Only about 40 miles from Bath but after 4.5 hours of driving I was in no mood to continue. At 2pm I headed for home. Or so I thought.
