The Cathedral took 632 years to complete. During the war, 90% of the central city was destroyed. Eau de cologne was originated here in 1709 by the Farina family. They have excavated the Jewish settlement a little more than on my last trip and plan to open an underground museum within 2 years. We visited 7 Christmas markets as the weather was nice. ... principles have been passed on perfectly to your cabin crew :) An hour later and we arrive in Germany. ... EVERYWHERE in Europe has many italian restaurants owned by Italians. Thin crust personal pizza 4 stagioni my fav! Doesn't beat the pizza in italy but was delish. Bars were dark and played strange music but local beer was very nice. I had to try the typical german shnapps which was actually nice as well.

... vowed to never do exercise of the sort again? Remember when I said that?

Today I climbed the Dom. 530 steps. It's easy, they said. You won't even feel the last 150 steps, they said.

Well I can tell you I didn't feel the last 150 steps, purely because my legs were essentially NUMB at that point. Christ, it is a tall building. 149 metres if I remember correctly. Bloody hell it hurt. But, again, the view at the top was incredible and so worth it. ...
