    ... STORES, FARINA AND 4711. These two competitors offer premiums cents at great cost.


    We returned to the ship for a late lunch, a nap, and then started to pack suitcases. We left port about 3 pm and sailed all night to our last stop, AMSTERDAM. After dinner, the crew of the boat put on a hilarious crew show, which left us all in a happy mood.

    Up a little later today, breakfasted and on bus - front seats today. Crossed Mosel river. Uneventful travel bypassing Bonn en route to Koln (cologne). Stopped at Cologne for lunch. Most impressed with the external magnificence and of course height of the cologne cathedral, the tallest in the world, but inside didn't quite match up.     ... plant section which were all outside for the summer in pots but I was interested to see some of the plants were just growing in the soil such as lantana and it makes me wonder with a bit of protection what will grow in the UK outdoors.
