After lunch we jumped on our bikes and set off on a ride along the various cycle I'd forgotten our map we had nowhere specific in mind, but we managed a circuit of 23.2 km according to the app on my phone (yesterday was 32.7km).

No blog update for Wednesday - simply because it was grim! The sky on Tuesday evening had those long thin streaky bits which foretell trouble, and we woke up on Wednesday to a howling wind and grey skies. Our plans to hire bikes were put on hold, and we decided to make a second attempt to visit Stralsund. ... evening, and I had spotted a barbecue in the outside shed, so Liz and I nipped into town to get some burgers and other barbie stuff (definitely no sausages, though - after a few days in Germany we were already sausaged-out!). We sat on the terrace as the sun went down, and then repaired to the lounge to watch another Hitchcock film - this time possibly not the greatest choice (Topaz) - I thought it was a little too long....
