Passau, Germany, city of three rivers.
... a fortress on the nearby bluff and the cathedral. We actually went into the cathedral for an organ concert and looked at the baroque style of architecture (the details of artwork become more ornate as you look up to the ceiling which represents heaven). The Residenz had Rocco style of architecture with a large painting on the ceiling in the library (the artwork at the ends of the ceiling look slightly distorted but ...
And on the 6th day we rested

A Cold And Rainy Afternoon
Each day at 8:30 am we sit down with our tour leaders for a briefing on the route we will take for the day, and what to expect. As a result we're up by 6:30 am, and have breakfast an hour later. The weather is not too promising with rain expected this afternoon. The mileage today is 24 miles round trip. The halfway point is a town in Austria named Scharding where we will stop and have lunch. It is known ...

I have no idea how the elderly manage it. I would have to assume that they have steps to help them in and out of ...
Austria, Czech Republic and Germany in One day
... is always unique to that town.
From Cesky Krumlov it was let's catch up with the boat which had left Linz and spent most of the day sailing to Passau in Germany. After another bus ride through the beautiful countryside with everything from thick forests to the green rolling hills of the farm lands I had about 30 minutes to explore Passau before we once again sailed so we can reach Regensburgs by tomorrow ...
