12F when we awoke can't imagine what 75F even feels like any more. Packed up the car and headed to the airport with our car and house sitter Miss Elizabeth in tow. Our flight was delayed slightly by de-icing however we were soon in the air and heading to warmer climates. Checked in at the hotel (bags all arrived!) ...

... for Tel Aviv on Sunday :) I found out yesterday I'll be living in an apartment with 10 other people. It's going to be insane and beautiful. My work is less than half a mile from my apartment, so I can walk or bike there in less then 10 minutes. I'm super relieved! But before that comes, I'm off to spend a couple days in the big city. Sending love and kisses to all of you. Know that I carry you with me where ever I go.

Unfortunately we had to leave early on the Saturday morning as we had booked a bit late and had limited flight options. Lolo and Roman, our landlords-who-live-upstairs’ kids, fed Tigger while we were away. A bit of pocket money for them and more frequent visits for Tigger!

... score hometown winners 5-2.Scoring for Detroit 2 goals for Datsyck, 1 for Helm and 1 for Weiss . Zetterberg scored in empty net! Scoring for Flyers were Giroux and Voracek. Three stars were Datsyuk, Weiss and Helm. Smooth exit system with shuttles all in one area that can be accessed easily! Ended the night with a few nightcaps in the hotel ...

... due to inclement weather. Honorable Mention (of which there are a few!): "Boomshakalaka!" - Kid on the carousel. "I'm so nervous!" - A fan mocking the anticipation of The Wave approaching. "It should be illegal for a damn family of 6 to all hold hands while walking!" - A lady voicing her displeasure at the congestion before the game (can't say I disagree with her).
