Wow, what a beautiful view from this hotel, located outside of town on the top of a hill, overlooking lagos agentina. The hotel itself is also of good quality, friendly staff.

The location of this property is fabulous. It is perched on a hill, just outside of town (about 10 minutes driving) overlooking Lake Argentina. The restaurant is pretty good. Breakfast is basic but lunch and dinner have more variety. The service is mixed some of the staff are really good, others are not. The hotel and facilities however are excellent so I will still give this property 4 stars.

... It's quite a social hostel with everyone gathering in the lobby/lounge rather than chilling in their rooms but everyone here is here to see the glacier and do some trekking. At 5pm we head to the Glacier museum which holds and Ice bar inside which for $10 includes all you can drink for 25 minutes. We had a great time, but then the last thing I remember is leaving the bar at about 6pm. I woke at 2am in hospital with a drip in my arm.not how ...

    ... impressive.

At the glacier we managed to catch up with Liz and Jill (both from Australia) who left before us, but we then caught up at the glacier ice-bar at the Glaciarium (partway back to El Calafate) for our permitted 25 mins of time in the bar for unlimited drinks. We took full advantage of this! We had a great night, with a joint dinner and some wine, before heading to bed ahead of our impending bus to Puerto Natales, Chile, in the morning!

... and from the ground up the hill. It was a rather windy day and the sunshine was patchy so we waited for the sun to peep out in order to take the best photographs, something that Thamar was particular about and it certainly worked well. I had heard that if luck, one was able to see and hear chunks of the glacier breaking off and falling into the lake, but will the wind, I wasn't sure we would hear much else. However to my elation, the ...
