... and not a path through the wall at all. It was so hilarious. They went to turn through the arch and saw me pressed against the gate hiding and we all started crying we were laughing so hard. When we returned to Mikes house after our day trip we went over to his neighbors house and got dressed all scary like to help out with a very impressive haunted house that they out on every year. He's stationed over here in the Air Force, and I haven't really spent time with him since my freshman year of college, what with his deployments and my travels, so it was really fantastic to be able to spend some quality time reconnecting. We explored a castle and a large German grocery store that was really fun, ...

Arrived in Germany a day late due to a canceled flight out of RDU. We re-booked for the next day. This also happened to us the last time we went 2 yrs ago. Oh well, dry runs I guess. Jutta's brother in law had family and friends over and made about 25 types of flam kuchens. They are made on a type of thin pizza dough. Instead of tomato sauce they use a type of fresh cream (thickened) which is spread over the dough or goat's cheese (really from a cow). ...
