... prepared for anything it seems. All in all, we've made no decisions, had a great birthday adventure and are still alive. What more could a man ask for in the area of celebration?

Tomorrow is another day, as my mom might have said. Speaking of which, tomorrow is quickly approaching, so I'll end this attempt at journalistic entertainment. BTW, it's still snowing here in the so-called "Low Lands." Hang tight, there'll be more tomorrow...

* is o.k...
* but, it's nice to have someone to share your experiences with
* you only have yourself to please
* it can be boring at times

... got back into the airport and 15 minutes later were reboarding, they had to go through the whole spiel again, interesting. So many people missed their connections it was rather sad and very stressful for them. We landed and I had 15 minutes to literally sprint across the airport down the escalators, caught the train to the other terminal, and just made it to my gate, thankfully the flight had been pushed back 15 ...

... first at an observation area on The Historic Columbia River Highway. The Multamah Falls were beautiful and even better than I thought they would be. Up the road again we stopped at the Bonneville Dam to look at a fish hatchery for Salmon. We stay there for a lot longer than anticipated because we all found it so fascinating and such a lovely setting. On Monday we drove to our next stop, Umatilla Marina and RV Park. This non KOA park was located on the Columbia River in the little town of Umatilla. Umatilla is the name of the native Americans who lived in this area. It was a pretty nice place with great views of the water. We took a walk around the park and marina and then had dinner at the motorhome. Later we drove around and explored a couple of nearby towns and went to the McNary Lock and Dam. ...
