All the tables around us had people drinking cocktails or champagne, not for me that early though. I stuck with the breakfast burrito and it was huge. Breakfast over, it is off we go to Desert Hills and Cabazon Premium Outlets, they are actually two outlets located right next door ...

... We did a rugged walk to Dead Vlei that is said to be millions of years old. From there, a group of 10 of us elected to try to "hike" up the highest sand dune in the world. "Big Daddy" would be a challenging terrain we were told-and challenging would be a kind word to describe the perilous hike.
