    Tuesday 26th

    It was lovely to be invited to spend thanksgiving with our new daughter-in-laws family. So we drove south 6 hours to Lancaster where they live. The freeway system is amazing and the countryside of rolling hills and orchards was pleasant. Every few miles there are little settlements of gas(petrol) stations and food places to stop at.

    The Lancaster/Palmdale area is in the dessert north east from LA. It was great to stay in a different area ...

    ... rental car back and got shuttled to the airport at about 4.30. Did the check-in and security process. Got settled in the departure lounge ready for a long wait, devices plugged in to charge.
