After the weekend's activities and driving experiences I was really tired at work this week. The routine of 6.15am starts is really getting to me and I think the walking back and forward to work hasn't helped although, for the most part, the days have been bright and sunny and the walk is under 20mins even if I do have to stop and wait for my 'walk' light to cross the three main roads. ... I shook hands with countless parents and tried to pick out who was supposed to be with me! We had a nice morning playing some games, the class started to fill in their own 'passports' for me (for more info about them but also as a writing assessment) and I tried to get used to the fact there are 2 'lunch' breaks and 2 'play' breaks built into the day. I saw the parliament buildings and a few other important old looking places, a couple of Tim Hortons which I'm told are excellent coffee shops and lots of pre school kids being pushed around in quad buggies or walking in a big long line attached to each other and their teachers by a rope, which made me smile!
