... totally forgotten about the extra course that my meal came with - cheese! Placed in front of me was a rather hefty wedge of semi-soft cheese with a salty rind upon crushed walnuts and little pieces of toasted 'pain d'épices'.
After eating ALL of that we got on to dessert. I had a massive crème brûlée and Alyssa had some pain d'épices and ice cream.
... high, so we had a relaxing morning instead. Since being in France, we have seen a lot of 'Desperate Housewives' which I never once watched back home but it's the only show in English here! So, we may have watched an episode or two of that this morning. I know, we're terrible. Plus now I'll have to watch it on Netflix when I get home, because it's addicting!

Since this audio tour didn't involve any reading, that meant I was stuck exploring the museum at a Josh pace. ... find that indeed the bus actually did go at the time advertised. Hoorah! We headed into town where we looked around (it was actually quite nice) and went to the tourist office. We found out we could go to see a chateau that day - only one, because there were no buses in between the chateaus - and there was only one bus per day at 12:52. So we went into town and had amazing apple tarte-a-tin and citrus tart at a patisserie to wait for our bus. Things were looking up! We went out to ...
