Forget anything you've read about Provence, and any preconceived notions you may have about A Year in Provence, and Toujours Provence. You jy=ust need to experience Provence from the lens of Hotel Des Pins, and write your own story,

The hotel oozes rustic Provencal charm. Great food, the rooms are clean and simple and the service great.

We inch forward down the street. About half a kilometre and twenty minutes later the street becomes a dead end. We can't go forward and there is not enough room to turn around. I am not happy. We back up and eventually find a spot where we think we might be just about able to ...

It's time to make my way from Nice back up towards Paris and stop number one is Avignon. Avignon is a little town in France and is built with a fortress wall all the way around the town. I stayed at the POP hostel which hands down has the best hostel bed in Europe. Unfortunately I do not have a picture but hopefully my description will do it ...
