Today we took on the "Giant of Provence", Mount Ventoux. The ride is 22kms from Bedoin, rises just over 1600m and doesn't ever stop pointing up. The ride is really in 3 sections, the first 7kms slopes up gently until you reach St Esteve. From here the road slants up and doesn't dip below 7% for the rest of the ride.
