... and hand wash everything in the sink. Not the most relaxing day, but clean clothes are nice! While the drive today was absolutely breathtaking, it was nerve-racking as well. Between that and the laundry ordeal, we enjoyed relaxing the rest of the day, trying to unwind. Tomorrow we will get out & explore a bit more. And hopefully the weekend tourists will have gone ...

A big day was planned as I had located a Triumph dealer in the town of Villach which was some 370 plus kms from Innsbruck. The bike needed servicing and the rear Tyre was looking a bit second hand. The tour groups on the other hand were instead outside on the ramparts, perilously close to the vertical drop down the cliff face, merrily, as you guessed it, taking selfies.

We couldn’t help but secretly wish one of them might fall ...

... ones landed with boatloads of fat Americans to ferry backwards and forth that’s for sure!

Whilst cycling around, we had noticed a number of people swimming in the lake, not only at the designated public lido but also at random spots. It was already very hot, maybe around 28 degrees but I figured there was no way it was warm enough to swim in a freshwater lake. We decided in the end to give it a bash at the public lido which was ...
