The room was spacious and warm. We had a great view of the street below. The huge bath was a real treat.

We ventured to Lake Konstanz on the boarders of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. We grabbed more supplies and purchased a 4 day First Class Swiss Pass (seeings as we’re such a classy family and all - he he he!!) We took the 6 hour Glacier Express (advertised as the slowest express train in the world) through the Swizz Alps to Zermatt (home …

Then just after our picnic lunch, one of the luggage bags fell off the donkey, and slid down the very forested slope. Luckily it game to rest against a tree, about 50 mts down. Nicole headed down and carried it back up. It was Alain's bag, and thankfully it wasn't mine, as ...

... wash his shirt. I had to stop myself from clapping. Dinner was delicious, and afterwards we took some group photos as it was Emily's last night, as she is going back to Annecy after we reach Champex tomorrow. She is quite a big girl, but walks strongly, and although she was pretty shy to begin with, her English is probably the best of all. Then we played Crowns which has become quite a hit. Tonight we have 7 mattresses in a row, and it's quite hot and stuffy in the ...
