The room was spacious and warm. We had a great view of the street below. The huge bath was a real treat.

We ventured to Lake Konstanz on the boarders of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. We grabbed more supplies and purchased a 4 day First Class Swiss Pass (seeings as we’re such a classy family and all - he he he!!) ... taking us 4 hours all up and although a bit sore leg wise and toenail wise, we all agreed it was a fantastic excursion. Coffee, beer and something to eat was a welcome treat on our arrival back in town. Drinks at 5 courtesy of the hotel in compensation for no hot water on our first night as the generator had broken down, plus cheese, biscuits and other nibbles in the lounge complete with open fire was a perfect ending to a perfect day and a perfect few days near the ...
