... the fog cover to unveil a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps. Many photos later we reached the top and everybody rushed out into the snow. As you can imagine with a bunch of immature adults on a snow covered mountain a snowball fight broke out almost immediately. ... pub food for dinner, we ventured out to a nearby grocery store to buy breakfast foods and snacks for the next day. We went to Migros grocery store which was like a really tiny IGA. ... been before. It was really wonderful. The local birds are incredible flyers and you could watch them soar all day. A quick stroll around and a tourist lunch then home by cog train then normal train. Then took a stroll over the old chapel bridge - a revisit for M. Very beautiful in the afternoon light with flowers decorating its sides. Had dinner at Pfstern restaurant on the balcony overlooking the bridge. Food just so so but the views to die for with a full moon rising ...

... peaks was so white because it was been enhanced by the beautiful blue sky, what a perfect day. After roaming around on the mountain and soaking up the serenity for a few hours and taking a thousand photos it was back down the mountain to have our lake cruise. ... the city walls and the towers that once guarded the city for a view over the town and to have a look at the one of the clocks inside a tower that has a mechanism that is open to view. There is a carving in the side of a mountain not far from here dedicated to the swiss guard that protected the french royal family at the point of the revolution.
