The landscape from Aix to Lyon was fairly much what we had gotten used to in Provence. Hills with towns and churches and the occasional castle on top and red terracotta tiled roofs on houses. From Lyon the landscape began to change as we headed up into the French Alps. The countryside became a more lush green and the trees were different. ... Herr. Not really my thing, but scenery so pretty. I got a small handcarved fawn. I asked if they had any handcarved horses. No sorry. Got some rocking horses instead.
