... Swiss army knife of orchestral instruments ... they just kept bring out more weird things from nowhere!

Jeff had a go on the Alpenhorn & did a pretty good job, given it was his first time. Bev had a lot of fun getting up & dancing on the stage. I think this was the highlight of the entire trip for her so far & she stayed right until the end.

The lion is wounded with a spear in his side, dying, whilst laying on the shield protecting the fleur de leus. Peaceful. Walked over the Chapel bridge. I love this bridge. Old, old ,old. ( bit Harry Potter like) The old medieval church attached is called Kapelplatz. We ...

  • Long drive this morning on our way to Switzerland. Quite exciting approaching the As Alpes and seeing the countryside changing. Lunched at one of the Autogrills, a large way station for travelers which is part cafe, part restaurant, part souviner and confectioneries shop. They can be crazy busy. One can get a self serve buffet tyupoe measl which might be lasagne, chips, soup, pasta, veges ...
