Another hot day in Germany !
We decide to attempt to beat the heat by taking a train out the city of Potsdam where they have rivers and lakes, thinking a boat ride and spending some time in one of the parks may be lovely today. The train takes about 30 minutes to get outside Berlin and into Potsdam.

So.. as you can tell.. I had a wicked time in Berlin. It is a great city.. and there always seems to be something going on. The light festival was on while we were there, but we didn't get around to seeing it! Something to come back for (as well as another pork knuckle maybe??) But as for now.. it's time to say goodbye to the German capital as tomorrow we're off to Prague via Dresden!
