... left late & ate up 14 mins. So we only had 2 mins to make the connection. Believe me it was just like in amazing race, as we made the 100 yard dash, at a sprinters pace to make the connection. Marilyn was about 30 yards behind as I got to the train. She was worried that I was going to leave her behind. Would I do that?

... a bit out of the way for getting to Salzburg but many pretty scenes, houses and mountains were evident on the road there. This little town is very pretty indeed – high, snowy mountains and a great big lake. Plenty of pretty little houses also. ... to a wench as an extra precaution. The operator would push the shovel of the back hoe into the ground behind it, lift the support legs, and push the tractor up the mountain, engage the support legs, move the shovel and start all over again. It was fascinating and scary at the same time.
