    The first time I heard about Zell am See, Austria was in the final episode of Band of Brothers. For those who haven't seen it, it's a WWII mini series about Easy company of the American 101st airborne, soldiers who fought in Europe from D'Day until Zell am See. The series was also the main reason for visiting Bertchesgarten and the Eagles nest.     ... but we had to cross the road, the cars were speeding along a bit nerve racking! Arriving at the lake I thought it was going to be just tourist land, there was a huge car park, tourist info, shops and restaurants. Once we got on the boat, it was.
