Christmas Countdown
... to bake as many biscuit recipies as they can for the Christmas break. They picked 12 recipies this year and I think managed to get 10 done. Not bad really for 6 hours work!
I helped out a little bit, but I was more focused in making a snowball the envy of every kid on the block! Unfortunately I ran out of powder in the small backyard, but still came away with a good result. I don't think it will last the week though!

... br> Then I got busy getting my package organised for Australia by buying a few German things to send home. Go visit Rainer in 2 weeks and you might be able to read a German newspaper. Season 1 of Dr House has been entertaining me in the afternoons as well, but with an upcoming trip to Stuttgart this Sunday, I've been trying to organise that and Christmas cards as well. ... Seattle Washington. We went just as the sun was setting so we had a spectacular view and then as it got dark saw all the pretty city lights. Yesterday, we went to a thermal bath swimming pool, however, we were the only young people there (other than us, I think the youngest person was seventy) and it wasn't actually warm so we left and traveled to the pretty town of Ludwigsbourg. We stopped at the Eckstein (Cornerstone) Kneipe which was a loud music bar and sat down for beer and cocktails. We were lucky to get an early table because the bar filled up pretty quickly. The music was good and everyone had a good time, although Tania seemed to be a little more drunk so we caught a taxi back instead of waiting for the tram.
A good night had by all! Can't wait for the ice ...
Autumn Days
... been good to get into a regular workout schedule again as well. It is a bit hard doing sit ups in a tent!
I made some Anzac Biscuits this week and my first homemade pizza base which turned out ok, but we didn't bake it long enough so it was a bit soft. My German course finishes next week and my new one starts directly so there will be no rest for the wicked! I'm looking forward to hitting the Christmas Markets tomorrow and playing some billiards afterwards!
