Barely took any photos in Hangzhou as it ****** it down most of the time we were there but here are a few. Hangzhou isn't much of a wintery place really as most of the activities are based around the lake. We attempted to walk around it on my birthday but got soaked through so went to a silk museum instead. I told you it was three wet and wild girls let loose in China...We made up for the ****** weather by going for some real nice food at a restaurant called Grean Tea restaurant though. ...

From Beijing we took another overnight train to Hangzhou. In Hangzhou we were met by our guides and we headed out for a lovely little stroll around the town (which apparently has the happiest people in china mostly due to being quite clean and wealthy). ... rice patties and fields of greenery, barely any other cars, and barely any civilization. Anyway, lunch was a really fun experience. We were served the typical green bean dish, fish dish, bamboo dish, and soup type dish, but we also had some really bizarre foods like rabbit, little crawfish, and we came upon the chicken's whole head in the soup. That's authentic. Anyway, after lunch we drove the extra 15 minutes to the hotel, which overlooks the mountains. I really ...

... get to Guangzhou where the weather is a little better (hopefully) and we start feeling better we can get out and move around. We fly to Guangzhou tomorrow afternoon and I can not tell you how happy I am to get there. Hangzhou is nice and it would be so cool to explore the city and see West Lake when the weather is nice, but with rain/sleet/snow every day with three children...not so much fun. I have to say that Madison is the real trooper of it all. Clint has been ...
