... each for the 30 minute cab ride! AMAZING!
We arrived at the base of the mountain and wandered around the tea fields for a while. There were lots of couples there for their wedding pictures. One girl was in a pink gown with yellow sash. My visa will be collected by Triston next week so fingers crossed nothing ...

I got up at 7:00 to get to the train station by 8:00 (I was 10 minutes late). Not to worry. I bumped into R and N who were buying coffee, and D was there too. I sat next to R on the train ride and we small talked about cities and math.

Once there, we took a 70RMB boat ride to an fulfilling island, where myself and D got cranky from the lack of food. So let's skip to the cool ...

    Yangshou to Hangzhou

A travel blog entry by richmiketrav on Oct 01, 2014

We woke early and from the room and balcony we watched the sun grow stronger in the clear air on the mountains opposite, while a fisherman quietly punted himself about just below the weir. Enjoying the cool morning air, we went down and had breakfast beside the river and were surprised to see punts starting to drift past even at this early hour. It was the Chinese national holiday so I think people were starting early to beat the crowds. Packed and ready by 11am, we realised ...
