    Dear Bev,

I made the long journey home and it's back to normality. Well, what used to be normal. Don't get me wrong, I missed my family (and my pups) immensely, but I miss so much of the traveling and the people. It was a freedom that I can't really put into words. a movie, long and red and the setting was very picturesque. The
houses we passed to get there were all old and classic, ...

... Vietnamese and Filipino. I can't even try to count how many friends I made. As a solo traveler, many people were worried that I would be alone for most of it. Honestly, I was rarely alone. There were only a few instances when I was completely by myself (mainly on my motorcycle) and it was extremely freeing. If anyone reading this is on the fence about doing anything like this, I ...

    Into the woods

... no bears seemed to be around. We did a small hour hike through the woods but the trails were a little confusing so we decided not to venture out too far as it was already 4pm and we didn't want to get lost after dark. We did find an amazing tree that people had been carving their initials into since the 70s. It was really amazing because the initials had just expanded and healed over the years so they had become bigger and more visible. ...
