... was the equivalent of $11. I definitely saw there were busses leaving every 10-15 minutes, and we hopped on the bus leaving at 1:30pm. The bus ride to Vina Del Mar took about an hour and a half. The bus ride was pretty scenic. There were quite a few Vineyards, and we went through 3ish tunnels. Once we got to the bus station in Vina Del Mar, we took a taxi cab to our accommodation.

Greg found an airbnb accommodation with this really nice lady named Elsa. It ...

They were then left until just before our empanadas were cooked as only take a few minutes under the grill. They were very nice, very similar to mussels but a little less fishy. Kerry surprised ...

Day 43 - off to Valparaiso

A travel blog entry by kittysheeran on Nov 10, 2013

Today we catch a bus from Sandiago to Valparaiso. We catch a taxi to the different bus station, arrive at 1240 and there is a bus at 1! Excellent timing. We buy our tickets and hop on and away we go. Within 2 hours we are in our hostel in Valparaiso! AMAZING! Travelling to a new place and arriving in the same day with hours remaining for exploring! Loved it. One of my favourite journeys. Valparaiso is a lovely town, cobbled stone streets, colourful buildings and ...

... not need a translation of the Spanish for you to understand what the image was about. After this I had another short walk around Cerro Concepcion but did not find anything new as I had seen it on the tour the day before.

Again, the weather was not great. I was considering taking a boat tour around the harbour but as you could not see much of the city due to smog and clouds I decided not to waste the money on it and returned to the hostel for the day. It was ...
