... hostel had been very hot last night so I hadn't slept much, so I just spent the afternoon sat in a cafe, enjoying my last few hours in Sicily.

So now it is time to say goodbye to Sicily. I'm currently on an overnight ferry to Naples for a couple of days. I will be sleeping on deck and arriving early morning, so we will see how much sight seeing I will manage when I get there!

Till then, Ciao Sicily xxx

My pack @ 9.5 kg, Maddie @ ...

It is a beautiful city, almost like a mini Roma, clean, vibrant and hundreds of old buildings in magnificent condition. We checked in at the Europa Centrale Hotel which is right on the Piazza ...

The northern coast

Today we ventured further along the northern coastline, from Messina, to Milazzo and then Cefalu another famous beachside resort town. The weather was a bit bleak by the time we got to Cefalu, but the views were spectacular. We had lunch at a nice seaside restaurant, and headed back via the coast road rather tthe the Autostrada. Then we joined ...
