Well, the day did not disappoint us. We saw a wide variety of animals including: 21 grizzly bear, over 100 caribou, 30+ dall sheep, 3 foxes, one wolf, the largest bull moose our driver had ever seen, a variety of birds including one golden eagle.

It was very interesting to learn that after WWII Alaska sought volunteers from Minnesota and Wisconsin to move to Alaska and start family farms.
