Our "full" day at Legoland. Not a lot of rides for us "bigger " kids, but the ones that there were were fun. Only downside was the wait in queue and the rides were generally quite short. But certainly lots to look at while you wait. And there is Lego everywhere for the kids ...

... cute room with a pirate theme. Explored the park/campground: it's HUGE! Lots of fun things to see and do. Maggie had fun at the playground on the zip line and the "bouncing airbag/trampoline " thingy. Buffet supper at the hotel and then we actually "Vegged " in front of the TV! ... As predicted, it was an absolute scorcher. So much so, Jon took Prego to the lake twice to dunk her to cool off (even though we made her lie in the shade the whole day), I had to take my chair and book down the hill to find shade a couple of times and, no word of a lie, Jonathan underscore Bowles was heard to say these two sentences "it's just too hot" and "I never thought I'd say it, but I'd be grateful for some cloud"!!
