... have already dipped into the wine) before crashing. We have a full day of Orientation and then a scavenger hunt tomorrow, so we are starting right into the hustle and bustle.

It's weird to be here. And weird to think about how this is where I'll be for the next four months. But I'm sure as classes start and I start finding a routine, it will all start to feel quite normal. I just hope I get a little bit better at French...

Today was the same routine, Nanny walked Brody over to ski school and Matt and I took Marni along to her school. She was a little more focussed and happy about it today. We did this most of the way down the nursery slope, and just at the last little bit, Matt took her again and put her in between him so she could ski, but he could guide her across to the chair lift. Today too, Marni walked on her skis, so the new pink skis definitely made a difference - thanks Anne!

... I would leave the city a day earlier than planned. Honestly, I wanted to leave Friday morning, but I knew I needed to give Berlin one more chance. And I'm so glad I did.

That night, I drunkenly invited Adam to come see the Topography of Terror with me the morning after, asking him to bring along his friend who I haven't quite met yet. I immediately regretted it, desperately wanting to be alone for a day. But alas, the invitation was out there, and they ...
