Those big black crows are still following us. They're Black Vultures. They have a 1.5 m wingspan, with upturned 'fingers'. They swirl around the sky above us in gangs. They're everywhere, waiting for something to happen.

Back on the freeway, whoever isn't driving is on bear watch, scanning the endless woods. No bears seen yet.

... the road and then are moved across in small buses to control the numbers. You only get to visit the 2 floors in the house, not the bedrooms upstairs. Decor is well - interesting (I am being kind) - very 60's and 70's, including while lounges, carpet on the ceiling in the basement, rooms with themes e.g. the family room is done in a jungle theme.
