Today was a trip to a State Park about 1 hour's drive north of Coppell. Whilst most of the drive was along freeways we passed through farming country with horse ranches and cattle before entering the park. Ray Roberts Lake State Park has a 29000 acre reservoir supporting many water activities. The weather was nice and sunny but the wind kept it cool - about 16. ... and takeout places were closed. So we decided to skip dinner (the theme of our trip it seemed like) and just call it a night. I also decided that we should just stay in the hotel tomorrow, as we would be too rushed to explore anything, since the Metro would take an hour to get to Downtown Dallas. I decided it would work out since I needed to sleep off the jetlag anyways, before my next trip. With that decided, I tucked myself back into bed and promptly fell fast asleep.
