... bus station, we got a cab to the River Inn which worked out to be nearly as much dollar wise as the return bus trip from Nashville to Memphis!! Only $55 each return on the bus and nearly $30 taxi fare!!

... that this hotel for the last 30 or so years every morning escorted 5 ducks from the roof, down the elevator, and ceremoniously escorted on red carpet into the hotel lobby fountain at 11am. The ducks then spend the next 6 hours swimming in the hotel fountain before being ceremoniously escorted back to the rooftop. ... the stadium is right across the street from our hotel. We went to find out how much it is, and ended up buying tickets. At about 7pm we headed down to the stadium and took our seats for our first baseball match. Not the best seats in the house, we were looking into the sun, and it was hot hot hot, but it was fun.
