... re going to see the Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark - "currently the only twentieth-century blast furnace in the U.S. being preserved and interpreted as an historic industrial site." From Birmingham to New Orleans

Thought we would miss the sunset due to clouds and all the trees on I-59 and we were surprised rolling into New Orleans by way of a very long bridge to gimpse the sun setting over the Orleans parish. Spectacular view.

It has been in the 90s and humid; gas has stayed around $3.50; food today consisted of custard, a chilli dog for me and pulled pork sandwich for D.
