... about 600kms by car in the country and saw some very pretty places. The south west where we are seems to be prospering and is worth a longer look. There was a bar man in Paris with tattoos of men's faces on his forearm. Turns out they are pictures of "Frenchmen who killed Nazis". I think WW2 is still front of mind for many ...

... t it? Maybe I should have a glossary at the beginning..... Another random thought.... I think we should begin introducing some new words to our English language. For example, I was reading something here the other day and was quite taken by the fact that a car had 16 soupapes, which are valves. I like the word, and think I will only talk about soupapes in the future..."I hear your putting in some bigger soupapes...." Sounds good... I know, I am a bit crazy....but it ...

    Village # 2 - Montpeyroux

Wow - number 1 village by far.  As you will see in some of the photo's the properties and views are stunning.  We wandered in and around many of the cobble stone type streets, through small tunnels and passageways.   There is a reason they have all non residents park in one spot at the bottom as the narrow 'roads' would be a nightmare for a non-resident to manage. Walking was a balancing act in ...
